The registration number you type is processed locally in your browser to create the PNG. TeslaEdit does not send the registration number to a TeslaEdit server or include it in shareable URLs.

TeslaEdit is designed so the registration number you enter stays in your browser while the plate image is generated.
Sharing a generated PNG
On browsers that support file sharing, TeslaEdit can create the generated PNG locally and pass it directly to the browser or operating system share sheet. TeslaEdit does not upload that PNG. If file sharing is unavailable, the Share control falls back to sharing or copying a TeslaEdit link without the registration number.
Local preferences
Your selected country, language and analytics choice may be stored in your browser using local storage so the site can remember your preferences.
Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, TeslaEdit uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-53FY6BYH0S to understand aggregate usage such as page views, selected markets, successful plate generation, PNG downloads, share actions and eBay clicks. Custom analytics events do not include the registration number you entered or custom frame text.
Advertising signals
TeslaEdit disables Google advertising signals and ad-personalization storage in its Google tag configuration. Analytics storage remains denied unless you choose to allow it.
External services and font credit
The Tesla license plate frame offer links to eBay. Once you open eBay, eBay's own privacy policy and tracking practices apply. When a Dutch plate is displayed, your browser may download the Kenteken typeface from jsDelivr; the registration number is not included in that font request. Kenteken is © 2004 LeFly and is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence; RDW identifies this font for its online plate display.

Use “Change analytics choice” on this page to reset the analytics decision. You can also clear TeslaEdit site data in your browser at any time.
VIN Decoder
The VIN you enter in TeslaEdit VIN Decoder is decoded locally in your browser and is not uploaded to TeslaEdit. If you allow Google Analytics, VIN Decoder events may include non-identifying product context such as whether a decode succeeded, the Tesla model, generation and the action used. The entered VIN, its production sequence and masked or full VIN strings are never included in analytics events.
